Beeswax is an incredible natural substance. The well-known wax is made by bees through a secretion of their wax gland. The collected pollen turns it into the familiar yellowish colour.

Since its discovery, this wax has been used for the most diverse applications. At first, it was an important source of light for houses in the form of wax candles. Later, beeswax became essential for several other activities: the care of leather and wood products, cosmetics and food industry.
